It has been in San Diego since 1986, a major US military hub and the city where the Mormon Battalion arrived in January 1847, in the first years of American rule after Spain and Mexico. From San Diego it built the LRAD , a long-range sound device, and Genasys itself, in its own blog , calls the LRAD "the de facto standard" for long-range hailing devices.
